This meeting is for all who are serving in any capacity within this fellowship.  Meet with us NEXT SUNDAY, September 12th, 4 pm in the sanctuary, as we have a time of worship, the Word and hear from the heart of our pastor and the vision for this body.

Men’s Retreat
Men mark your calendar for this years men’s retreat on Oct. 22nd-24th at Camp Zephyr. More info TBA later.

High School Girls’ Study
This study (9th-12th grade girls), “Royal By Blood” by Jennifer Johnson, will begin FRIDAY, SEPT. 10th, 6 pm at Rich & Anita M.’s (this first meeting will be dinner, fellowship and study - all studies following  to be at 7 pm.)  Cost is $12 for the book.Sign ups and details are available at the info booth.

Friday School begins SOON!                                 
Do you have a special talent or skill in self defense, sewing, survival skills, jewelry making, etc.? If Calvary Chapel is your home church and you have been under the teachings of Pastor Rod, please pray about serving in our homeschool ministry by teaching a Friday School class.  CHILDREN’S CHURCH SERVANTS
Wed. & Sun.—Walkers-2 yrs.& 3-4 yrs., Wed.— 3-4 yrs. a few times a month. Cleaning Volunteers There is a great and immediate need for volunteers to clean the church building.

CC Concerned Women for America
CWA’s mission (includes both men and women!) is to protect and promote Biblical values among all citizens –first through prayer, then education (on Biblical standards and ideals), and finally by influencing our society – thereby reversing the decline in moral values in our nation. MEETING SUNDAY, SEPT. 26TH,5:30 pm in the multipurpose room.

Bible College Fall Semester
The fall semester of college level Bible studies will begin THIS WEEK, August 27th & 28th. This semester includes the Old Testament Survey I (Fridays, 6-8 pm) and Bible Theology (Saturdays, 10 am-12 pm).  Both classes are 2-hour credit courses with a cost of $50 per course. Sign ups are available at the info booth.

We are gathering a list of people that we can call upon as needed. We know that we have a lot of skills in our body. Skills as in electrical, framing, dry wall, painting, flooring etc. Let us know your desire to help build out our new building. Your skills allow us to be good stewards of our finanaces. Not to mention good fellowship working for the Lord. 

That's right. We now have our services on PUBLIC ACCESS TV CHANNEL 10 . Sundays at 7pm and Wednesdays at 11am. Tell your friends and family who can't make it to our church or want to check it out before coming. Great way to catch up on missed services when out of town or if you just want to hear again to learn more so tell others in our church about this.The tv guides may not say Calvary Chapel but the broadcasts start at times given above and last for one hour. 

Servants Needed-Get Connected  
SIGN UP AT THE INFO BOOTH TO GET PLUGGED IN! Pray about where the Lord would have you use the talents that He has given to you. Servants are needed in many areas: Parking Lot, Usher, Nursery ,Video Ministry, Meals Ministry. Where can you be a blessing?

This is a ministry that blesses families struggling financially with house hold items. We are in need of item donations. Please pick up flier at the info booth.

Prayer Warriors! We are setting up an email prayer chain to pray for our youth (Jr. High/High Schoolers). 1.It is a 3 month commitment  2. You’ll receive 3 prayer requests a week.  3. Requests will be general. Example: a heart to worship, a heart to read God’s word, etc. This prayer team is for everyone! ALL prayer warriors wanted whether you have kids or not!  Parents can sign up their children so that their names appear on the emails and they will be prayed for by name.  Warriors and/or parents can sign up at the info booth.

M.I.T.I.
Mom’s In Touch International has a group meeting here every Wed., 12:30-1:30 pm in the multipurpose room. Come join us as we come together as moms, aunts, grandmothers, etc.(ALL WOMEN WELCOME!) to pray the scriptures for the children. Bring your Bibles and your prayers!     

There are many opportunities to pray with and be a witness to those who are suffering. If you have a heart to minister to those in the hospital sign ups are available at the info booth!

Ladies, did you know we have a ministry to bless you and your family with dinner. If you have a baby, surgery, or illness, please call the church. Just give us your name, number, due date, surgery date or need. We will call you to set up your meals. Don't be shy, this ministry is here to bless you! >>>> Helping Hands Meal Ministry is in need of more servants. When there is a need we call you to bless a family with a nice home cooked meal. We do try to space out how often we call on you. Servants are needed for this ministry so if anyone would like to help in this ministry please sign up at the info center or see Olivia for more details.
